This vocal performance for three voices Passing on, Passage of Solid Presence, is a performative extension of the visual work Presence of Liquid Passage, Passage of Solid Presence (2025).
Drawing attention to the curves of cyclic time, the rhythmic arrangement of three voices guides us deeper into the realms of human loss, sorrow, hope, resilience and the power to reclaim narratives. By incorporating a vocabulary related to natural phenomena into linguistic arrangements, Vloors establishes analogies between human transformations and the descending movement of water, the erosion of stone and the silence of caves, where ancient, persistent whispers of gentle resistance resonate.
